Recent research has shown that the earth and all living things resonate at a high frequency and tone. Healthy cells vibrate at high vibrations and tone while diseased/sick cells vibrate at low frequency and low tone. When cells vibrate at high frequency they exhibit strong health and are in tune with the innate intelligence that flows through all matter. Interruption to the flow of innate intelligence causes cells to vibrate at low frequencies which disconnects living matter from its source.  

 

The word SUB-LUX-ATION (Sub = Less than, Lux = Light/Frequency/Flow) is a condition that interferes and is a major disruptor to the innate flow of life. Subluxations alter the flow of all LIFE that runs over all the nerves in the body and results in low vibrational tones. The CAUSE of all disease is altered expression of normal high vibrational tone.

 

This is why it is so important to ensure you continue to engage in high vibrational activities, thoughts and foods. Exercise, positive thoughts/actions and good nutrition all vibrate at high frequency and are in tune with the natural law of the universe.  They are the fuel your body needs in order to express health. Since the presence of normal tone prevents subluxations from occurring, the chiropractic adjustment and healthy lifestyle habits are necessary to ensure you continue to express your full potential.

 

Chiropractic does not cure and it certainly does not heal. YOUR BODY DOES and has everything it needs to be healthy. Chiropractic is the assessment application of what allows man to thrive by the removal of interference to the normal vibrational tone of life. Life runs from the source to each cell; uninterrupted it exudes the ultimate expression of life. It ensures we resonate at high frequency so we can be in tune with universal intelligence which runs through us. Chiropractic allows for the expression of life from Above Down Inside Out.

When our brain senses harm either from a traumatic/repetitive injury, stressful/negative thought or exposure to a toxins in the air, water, food or environment (aka. The THREE T’s), it shifts into protection mode—the fight-or-flight response (Sympathetic/Stress Response). The brain notes the body’s level of harm and determines whether we should be in fight-or-flight mode or if we have the “all clear” and can invest energy in growth and repair.

 

Our entire body is hardwired neurologically to respond to these signals one way or another: We cannot be both in GROWTH/HEALING and PROTECTION at the same time. While stressful mental activity includes negative, angry, fearful or depressed thoughts, physical traumas and toxic exposures represent influence the same centers of the brain as these mental thoughts do.

 

As you can imagine, we can be consciously aware of being angry, feeling nauseous from something we smell, or feeling pain from an injury, but an abundance of subconscious signals from these same circumstances reach the following key areas of the brain: the hippocampus (the center for learning), the amygdala (the stress and anxiety center), and the hypothalamus (the neuroendocrine control center, which initiates a cascade of events preparing us for fight or flight).

 

To give you an idea of the amount of signals detected by our brain each second, according to Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., we are able to perceive 40 bits of information consciously each second. In that time, 20,000,000 (yes, 20 million!) bits reach the brain subconsciously. Being that the majority of this input is subconscious, by definition you are not aware of it! Clearly, then, the quality of this abundant information profoundly influences the brain’s function.

 

Chiropractic adjustments, exercise, daily nutrient intake, and positive and loving thoughts contribute to creating high-quality input to the nervous system. This constructive input enhances healing, growth and balanced function. Health really boils down to homeostasis (balanced function) at the cellular level. To create a lifetime of health that can survive like D.D. Palmer’s principles, we must provide our bodies with optimal input throughout our lives.

 

Adjustments stop subconscious negative signals and brings the body into a state of ease thus allowing for a balanced state and therefore normal functioning of the entire body. Living a life in balance is the key to optimal health.

Medical researchers in Germany have discovered a link between pressure on the spinal cord from subluxation and heart function in infants.  They saw the displaced spine on the infant’s x-ray and when the displaced spine was gently removed by a specific adjustment the cardiac function of the infant improved.

They went on to say that this type of “treatment” was successfully used to “treat” other disorders in children including wryneck, c-scoliosis, irritation of the brachial plexus (nerves that supply the arm), retardation of sensation and co-ordination as well as pain related conditions such as cry-babies with ‘3-month colic’ or hyperactivity with sleeplessness.

 The report went on to say that over 20,000 children had been “treated” without serious complication.

Finally, the researchers suggest, “It will be interesting in the future to investigate a possible relationship between pressure on the spinal cord (subluxation) and sudden infant death (SIDS).

Amazing – this research paper was written by non-chiropractors and it originated in Germany.  Canadian chiropractors could lean a thing or two about useful research from these medical doctors.  Canadian researchers are trying to position chiropractic as little more that a mediocre treatment of back pain.  Meanwhile children are dying, or going through life with compromised sensory and motor development.

Chiropractic was developed 121 years ago with a much broader vision than most people (even chiropractors) understand.  Science is just now catching up! 

I’m tired of reading another study saying that chiropractic helps people with low back pain.  Let’s get to work understanding the really serious problems that chiropractic can address. 

In fact 15 years ago researchers Schneier and Burns (1991) drew a connection between subluxation in the upper neck and sudden infant death.  We’ve had this groundbreaking research for 10 years and it has, for the most part, been ignored.

The world is seeing the awesome things that chiropractic has bent asking about for 121 years. The true solution to terrific health is through an optimal functioning nerve system, whether it's for an intact or someone whose 90. With principled, specific, scientific chiropractic adjustments your nerve system is maximized and you live a great life. Without it you die early and poorly.

Have you ever woken up with a stiff neck or a sore low back. You can’t even bend down to tie your shoes without feeling agonizing pain. There is no such thing as a position where you feel comfortable. The pain is constant.

You stretch. Still feel the pain. You ice it. No change. You get a massage. That helps for a bit but then a couple hours or a day goes by and the stiffness returns. So you decided to take a drug. You take Advil, Tylenol, or an equivalent and it gives you some relief but as soon as it wears off the pain returns. You don’t want to have to take pills every day. Our hospitals and medical system is strained to the maximum because of just how sick we have become.

You body was designed to work in harmony with itself. Your brain sends signals to 10 trillion cells each second and receives information from those cells so it can self regulate. Your body secretes and produces chemicals and hormones in the perfect quantity and at the perfect moment. It can even do this while you are relaxing or when you are running. Your body can adapt and still maintain optimal harmony in the body. We call this being in homeostasis. This was how you were designed to work and this is what we mean when we talk about wellness. There's just one problem. You live on earth!

Every day your body is being constantly stressed from the moment you get up, the drive to work, the posture you have while sitting all day, the chemicals in the air your breathe, the toxins in our foods, the mental and emotional stresses from family, friends, work, the sport injuries, the falls, accidents and so on. As time goes on, your body is still functioning but now under a constant load. This is called allostatic load. Further driving you from homeostasis and altering your body's natural ability to self regulate and thrive. Now you're in CRISIS mode.

How many people do you know if your life that are just getting by?

How many people do we know live their lives in crisis mode?

Truth is, your body can only sustain this allostatic pressure for so long before your adrenals fail, your body chemistry is so far from its original design that you now have high blood pressure, you can't sleep, your energy is gone, you have aches and pains, your body is not repairing the way it use to, you get headaches or migraines, irritable and you carry a bottle of pills with you just to get by.

What does this have to do with chiropractic?

It's simple, chiropractic was never designed to instantly make you feel better, it was designed to instantly make you work better. Chiropractic is the only form of health care that directly works with the nervous system and we use the spine as our main tool to access it. Each specific adjustment not only removes pressure off the joints, it stimulates little receptors which cause the brain to adapt altering how it perceives the body. This is the power of the adjustment, it changes and restores the relationship between you brain and body. Ultimately, altering its self-regulating systems to its original state by changing your biochemistry from crisis mode to the way you were designed to function, heal and repair.

This is where you start living again, the way you were designed to live. Chiropractic is not about pain or symptoms, its about restoring your body’s ability to self-regulate. This is wellness and the truth that I live with that can save millions of lives.

With smartphone users now spending an average of two to four hours a day with their heads dropped down, this results in “700 to 1,400 hours a year of excess stresses seen about the cervical spine”, according to the research.

People simply forget how often they look down at their phones and for how long.

This can cause: head pain, neck pain, arm pain and numbness More importantly it stretches your spinal cord 2-3 inches longer than it should. This ultimately decreased the connection between your brain and body by 50% after only 2 minutes.When you stand and face forward in a normal standing position, all the curves of your neck and spine are in correct alignment. But when you drop your chin on to your chest for a long period you are stretching the whole structure.

Eventually, in conjunction with a sedentary lifestyle, it could lead to serious consequences.

You can use the phone is better ways with voice recognition, siri or simply call people instead of always texting. Take regular breaks and you can even alter your texting positions to avoid problems.

It is not the first time we have been warned about the dangers of texting. In 2011 it was blamed for an increase in pedestrian deaths in the US, with some towns considering the introduction of fines for people who text while walking. “Blackberry thumb” – repetitive strain injury caused by texting – has been joined by “iPad hand”, aches and pains caused by swiping and typing on a tablet. The list of ailments expands with every new piece of technology.

Getting your spine checked regularly also reduces your changes of any spinal damage occurring and increases the Brain-Body connection.

Remember, anything worth having (teeth, house, cars....spine) all need to be maintained.
